As part of the Erasmus+ GEAR (Gender Equality in Academia and Research) project, which focuses on gender equality in science and research, representatives of the Faculty of Health and Business Studies, Singidunum University, Prof. Dr. Marko Marković, and Prof. Dr. Katarina Marković, participated in the training held in Banja Luka. The Faculty of Health and Business Studies is one of the partners in the project 101129408 — GEAR — ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE, funded by the European Union.
The workshop (WP3) and training (WP4) related to the Erasmus+ GEAR project, Gender Equality in Academia and Research, were held at the Independent University Banja Luka (Nezavisni univerzitet Banja Luka – NUBL) in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republic of Srpska, on Thursday, October 17th, and Friday, October 18th, 2024.
The training was attended by members of academic staff and partners from various institutions, including the project coordinator Faculty of Management Herceg Novi, Adriatic University Bar; Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Montenegro; Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Tuzla; University of Maribor, as well as representatives of NGOs Socio-Economic Center of Montenegro (Podgorica) and GirlThing (Tuzla).
Vilnius University, from Lithuania, delivered the workshop. The training also included a meeting of the project consortium partners.
Representatives of Vilnius University, Prof. Dr. Aurelijus Novelskaitė, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marija Novaisaitė led the training.
